OUR PROGRAMS

ABC Child Development Center Programs

Infants (6 weeks – 12 months)
Beginning at 6 weeks, infants are welcomed by our caring and nurturing staff in a 1 to 5 ratio. Our goal is to provide the best available care for baby and parents in a safe and nurturing environment. Babies are allowed to develop their own eating and sleeping patterns. They have tummy time and story time daily while enjoying soft and comforting music.

Toddler I (12 months – 18 months)
This class should be referred to as “Cruisers” because this is where first steps are taken and independence is gained. Toddler I theme based curriculum encourages children to explore the world through language and creative arts along with promoting fine motor skills development.

Toddler II (18 months- 30 months)
Language, cognitive, creative, social and physical development is implemented through our theme based curriculum. Our curriculum encourages children to learn through play as well as explore the world of numbers, letters, shapes, and colors in circle time. Toddler II is where potty training is introduce as we partner with parents to master this skill.

Pre-School
School Readiness is our goal in our Pre-School program. Beginning with the Pre-K2 class through Pre-K4 the focus is to develop language, cognitive, creative, social, and physical skills in an inviting learning environment. Our Pre-School program is divided into three classes; Pre-K2 (2 ½ years- 3 years), Pre-K3, and Pre-K4. Our program begins the day with circle time where the children recites the Pledge of Allegiance and sings My Country ‘Tis of Thee. Circle time continues with calendar, weather, and story time. Although “learning through play” is an important component to our pre-school program, a bit more structure is added in our theme based curriculum where language, creative, and cognitive development, as well as, social and physical development come together to provide school readiness.

Outside Play
Physical development is important through all stages of childhood. ABC Child Development Center provides three separate large playgrounds with age appropriate equipment. The children are encouraged to be active and explore their physical abilities through play.
