The Answers to the Most Pressing Questions Are Here

Here is the Information You Need to Know

Drop off/Pick up

All children must be dropped off to their classroom each morning no later than 9 a.m., unless the child has an appointment in the morning.
Each child must be signed in and out each day. A full signature is required. Sign in sheets are posted outside of each class.

Insect Repellent

Insect repellent will not be applied on a child without a completed and signed medicine sheet along with a letter from the child's pediatrician stating the specific brand of the repellent and how to apply it.  There are not exceptions to this DHR rule.

Sick Policy

Children with one or more of the following symptoms are not allowed to attend until they have been free of the following symptoms for 24 hours:  Fever, throwing up and diarrhea.  Children with conjunctivitis/pink eye may not return until they have been on medication for 24 hours.  Children sent home with head lice may return after they have been treated.  If you discover head lice on your child please let us know so we can treat the center.

Shoes/Clothing

Children must wear athletic shoes to the center. For safety purposes, children are not allowed to wear flip-flops, sandals, crocks or any other non-athletic shoes to the center.

Birthday Parties

Children love having birthday celebrations with their friends in their class and we welcome these fun parties.  You are welcome to bring store bought cakes, cupcakes or cookies.  The health department prohibits homemade food being served at the center.  Due to food allergies and choking hazards, we ask that you do not send goodie bags.

After-School Care Parents

Please call the center by 2 p.m. if your child is not riding the van.  Not knowing a child is absent delays the van route for the other children.

Pre-K 4 Field Trips

Each child must bring a car seat labeled with their first and last name on it for each field trip. Children without a car seat will not be able to go on the field trip.
